Team Plasma was mentioned throughout much the {{series|Best Wishes}} as the "secret organization" active there. Two [[BW023 (unaired)|unaired]] [[BW024 (unaired)|episodes]] would have been their debut appearance, but these were cancelled following the {{wp|2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami}}. They then became the main antagonists of the ''Best Wishes! Season 2: Episode N'' arc. {{an|N}} debuted briefly in ''[[BW109|New Places... Familiar Faces!]]'', while [[Ghetsis]] and [[Colress]] debuted in ''[[BW112|Team Plasma's Pokémon Power Plot!]]''.
