:::Well because the names on the book are finalized ones on the namelist -- there should not be any changes about these... The names on Pokémon Adventures, although directly translated by Japanese company (The Pokémon Company), there are flawed from volume to volume and often have to fix those flaws in newer reprints. If you wonder, Zapdos was once called "Xander" and then fixed as "Thunder". So that's the reason why. We're now working on the finalized namelist, which hopefully will be added in Bulba wiki this month, but there might be changes and I just have to keep some secrets so haha...
