Igglybuff made its main series debut in ''[[EP243|Same Old Song and Dance]]'', where twins appeared. They were owned by a girl named {{OBP|Brittany|EP243}} and were practicing for a concert. {{an|Jigglypuff}} was jealous towards the Igglybuff twins as they were stealing its audience. They were [[nickname]]d Gigglybiff and Gigglybuff.
An Igglybuff appeared in ''[[DP190|The Brockster Is In!]]'', under the ownership of [[Normajean]]. It was among the Pokémon poisoned by a group of {{pkmn2|wild}} {{p|Tentacruel}}. They were all saved thanks to [[Brock's Chansey]] and {{m|Softboiled}}.
