XY TCG Series merchandise: Difference between revisions

The next trio of tins to be released centered around {{TCG|Pokémon-EX}} versions of the [[Kalos]] region's final starter evolutions: {{p|Chesnaught}}, {{p|Delphox}}, and {{p|Greninja}}. Released June 12, 2014, the '''Kalos Power Tins''' contained an exclusive Holofoil promotional print of each Pokémon-EX, four additional booster packs (1 Flashfire, 1 XY, 1 Plasma Blast and 1 Plasma Freeze), and a code card for the online TCG simulator.

The '''Hoenn Power Tins''', featuring three different {{TCG|Pokémon-EX}}, were made available exclusively at {{wp|Wal-Mart}} stores starting June 1, 2015, and distributed elsewhere June 17, 2015. Containing four booster packs and a code card for the {{TCGO}}, the three tins feature {{p|Sceptile}}, {{p|Blaziken}}, and {{p|Swampert}}, the three final starter evolutions of the [[Hoenn]] region, as Pokémon-EX cards. At the time of release, Sceptile-EX was not revealed for release in Japan, but the two others were already made available through various {{TCG|XY-P Promotional cards|XY-P Promotional}} means. Like the last released {{TCGMerch|XY|Series|Legends of Hoenn Tins}}, the code card unlocks a full 60-card deck (the code from the Sceptile-EX tin unlocks the {{DL|List of Pokémon Trading Card Game Online decks|Sceptile-EX Deck}}, the code from the Blaziken-EX tin unlocks the {{DL|List of Pokémon Trading Card Game Online decks|Blaziken-EX Deck}}, and the code from the Swampert-EX tin unlocks the {{DL|List of Pokémon Trading Card Game Online decks|Swampert-EX Deck}}).

The tins released on October 7, 2015 are known as the '''Powers Beyond Tins'''. The three tins featured alternate artwork reprints of {{TCG ID|Roaring Skies|Latios-EX|58}} and {{TCG ID|Roaring Skies|Rayquaza-EX|60}} from the {{TCG|Roaring Skies}} expansion and {{TCG ID|Ancient Origins|Hoopa-EX|36}} from {{TCG|Ancient Origins}}. Each tin contained 4 booster packs from recent expansions, and a code card for the online card game unlocking a full 60-card deck.
