Recap
incomplete plot
Outside the Pokémon League, Iris and her Druddigon watch in shock and horror as N's Castle rise from a large patch of earth that just got struck by lightning. Giallo announces that those who are in accord will fate will preserve while those against it will perish. As more of the castle rise from the ground along with the Seven Sages(minus Ghetsis), Iris only watches in shock as the enemy fortress rises and surrounds her.

Gorm rises from the ground on a part of the castle stating that not fixing one mistake will only create another while Rood claims that only the superior will know whats right. As Zinzolin emerges from the ground he announces just as there aren't two suns in the sky, there can't be two rulers.
A panning shot runs up the length of a segment of Victory Road, before stopping upon a view of the Pokémon League building.

Behind the building, Iris and her Druddigon run up the outer wall before watching in shock as a bolt of electricity strikes the earth and N's Castle rises from it. As this happens, the Seven Sages (excluding Ghetsis) arise from the ground on parts of the castle of the castle, proclaiming lines that paraphrase what is said to Hilbert/Hilda by them in Pokémon Black and White upon entering the Castle.

When the castle finishes emerging, stairs begin to materialize from openings in the walls as well as from where the Sages stand, establishing direct links to the direct rear face and sides of the League building, where Iris stands. Giallo announces that the time has come for Ghetsis's plan to be put into action: the entire Unova region will become Team Plasma's.

Upon this statement, Team Plasma Grunts and their Pokémon swarm out of the castle. Iris commands her Druddigon to attack, and it uses Flamethrower to destroy one bridge and block a Grunt & Liepard's path. Iris then yells out to the sages, claiming they 'Talk a whole lot but don't make any sense at all.' Upon hearing this, Giallo retorts and the Grunt's Liepard jumps the gap created earlier. As Iris' Druddigon moves forward to engage, both them and Iris are ambushed by two additional Liepards from behind. However, an Excadrill suddenly erupts from the earth and dispatches them both with Drill Run.

The Excadrill is revealed to belong to Clay, who compliments Iris' fighting. Almost instantaneously afterwards Clay is called out by the Sages and the entirety of Plasma's forces descend on the duo. Clay merely stands there and points out that it isn't just him, at which point the following happens:

Lenora's Herdier runs into the fray and tackles a Krokorok, followed by Elesa riding her Zebstrika (Electrifying two Grunts and a Liepard.) Burgh and his Leavanny come in afterwards, with Leavanny cutting up multiple Pokémon using Leaf Blade. After this, Brycen is shown beating up two grunts, accompanied by Beartic, who hurls a Gigalith into a wall, destroying a second set of stairs. Skyla's Swanna uses an Air Slash, causing mass havoc on the battlefield, before showing Skyla on top of the League building.

Finally, Drayden accompies his Haxorus, who stops two Whirlipede dead in their tracks with Dragon Tail. He states that he can emphasize with what some of the Sages and Plasma have said but cannot forgive how they reject all other ideas due to their extremism. The scene then zooms out to show all the Gym Leaders with their Pokémon.

The scene cuts to a pan of the greater area; they are completely surrounded from all sides except the rear by Team Plasma Grunts and their Pokémon. Giallo begins to speak once more, proclaiming that Ghetsis is the one who told the Sages and Plasma that they were the "true" chosen ones. As the Grunts' Pokémon slowly advance on the Leaders, they continue, announcing that they, who in their eyes are gathered to "alter the world for the better" have been given the "Solemn duty to change Unova." Following this, Bronius cries out as lightning crackles in the sky that the Gym Leaders "Shall not interfere with Team Plasma, or our King."

Drayden then leads the Gym Leaders into battle against the first gang of Grunts and Pokémon. The screen zooms in on the two charging crowds and cuts to black.

All of a sudden, stairs begin to materialise from the castle walls and entrances which connect to the back of the Pokémon League where Iris stands. Giallo announces that the time has come for Ghetsis's plan to be put into action where the entire Unova region will become Team Plasma's.

From the castle, many Team Plasma Grunts and their Pokémon swarm out of the castle to start their plan. Iris commands her Druddigon to use Flamethrower
