[[Alexa]] had problems with her camcorder when the group first arrived and temporarily left to get it fixed. Ash and his friends later relaxed on the island and let out their Pokémon to join them. After {{AP|Pignite}} got into a fight with {{AP|Oshawott}}, {{TP|Iris|Emolga}} ended up getting angry at Oshawott for bumping into her and {{m|Discharge}}d him. She went into another place to enjoy her food but {{AP|Scraggy}} arrived and Emolga did the same to him as she did to Oshawott when he bothered her.

After receiving some scoldings from Iris due to her behavior, Emolga flew off and ended up where {{TRT}} were. She single-handedly defeated their Pokémon and the trio got Emolga to join them. The trio and Emolga arrived to where Ash and his friends were. Emolga got into a fight with {{AP|Snivy}} and accidentally woke up an {{p|Exploud}} sleeping in a cave located on the island. It became angry at Ash and his friends and attacked them with {{m|Flamethrower}}, {{m|Thunder Punch}}, and {{m|Hyper Beam}}. Luckily for them, they were not hit by any of Exploud's attacks.

Team Rocket listened to on Emolga's conversation with {{TP|Iris|Axew}} and found out that Emolga was pretending to join Team Rocket. Angry at Emolga for betraying them, the trio went to the cave that Exploud was sleeping in and captured it inside a mecha of theirs. Team Rocket returned to where Ash and his friends were and attempted to steal {{AP|Pikachu}}. They brought out the giant box that contained Exploud and trapped Emolga and Axew in there where they had to deal with Exploud's brutal attacks. With the help of {{AP|Charizard}} and {{TP|Iris|Dragonite}}, Emolga and Axew were freed, and Exploud and Team Rocket were defeated. When Ash and his friends left the island, Iris told the story about their adventure on there to Alexa.
