As far as I know, we have no evidence yet to suggest whether the VC releases will maintain interconnectivity between Generations I and II, so I feel like your edit relies on an assumption (that they will do so). But I recognize that this is an extremely minor, nitty-gritty complaint, so until we have confirmation for or against interconnectivity, I suppose the page could go either way, and I'll leave it for now.
