Undo revision 2667835 by Pumpkinking0192 (talk) But Gens 1 & 2 can trade with each other. I've traded unnicknamed Jynx to Yellow on my original cartridges.
(Regardless of G/S, the Mew glitch will still be the only way to transport an unnicknamed Mr. Mime from Generation I. When G/S are released, we'll see whether it's more prudent to make a separate section for them or include them in this one.)

Normally, unnicknamed Pokémon, which have their species names in all-caps, have their names changed to be capitalized normally. If an unnicknamed {{p|Mr. Mime}} (only possible with glitches, such as the [[Mew glitch]]) is transported from Generation I, it will be given the nickname <code>MR-MIME</code>. In French, if an unnicknamed Pokémon of a species that has a {{wp|diacritic}} or {{wp|Typographic ligature|ligature}} in its species name is transported from Generation I, due to the Generation I games not using diacritics or ligatures, it will be given the nickname corresponding to the way its species name is displayed in Generation I (not changing upon evolution).
