A while ago I saw someone claim that after transferring Charap the Chatot to Gen VI, it was tagged as originating from a Japanese game. Can someone send Charap through exclusively English language games to Gen VI to test this claim? I doubt it is the case, but I want to be sure. --Snorlax'Monster 05:28, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

:Apparently this also applies to Gaspar. Maybe the Generation IV in-game trade Pokémon don't have their language of origin flags properly set? Or maybe this is a consequence of whatever flag is used to exclude Foppa from the Masuda method. --Snorlax'Monster 16:09, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
