This card was released in {{TCG|POP Series 3}}, originating as one of the Japanese {{TCG|PCG-P Promotional cards}}. In Japan, this cardit was releasedavailable foras part of a Meiji Chocolate's promotional campaign in October 2005. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the English print was available in a {{TCGMerch|EX|Series|Jolteon Blister Pack}} released in November 2006, and again as part of the {{TCGMerch|Diamond & Pearl|Series|Enhanced Value Pack}} in June 2007.
