Exploud debuted in ''[[AG066|Exploud and Clear]]'', evolving from {{OBP|Guy|AG066}}'s {{p|Loudred}} evolved into Exploud in ''[[AG066|Exploud and Clear]]''. After it evolved, it disobeyed and then left its {{pkmn|Trainer}}. Later in the episode, {{TRT}} tried to kidnap the Exploud and Guy tried to stop them from capturing it. When the Exploud saw what [[Guy (AG066)|Guy]] was doing fordefending it, the Exploudit began to listen to him once again.
 
InAn Exploud appeared in ''[[AG086|Lights, Camerupt, Action!]]'', anwhere Exploudit played the role of a villain in a [[Movies in the Pokémon world|movie]] that [[Elijah]] and his {{p|Camerupt}} were delivering to a small village.
 
An Exploud made an appearanceappeared in ''[[PK17|Pikachu's Island Adventure]]'', where it, along with a {{p|Hariyama}}. Bothand were{{p|Chatot}}, membersassisted of{{MTR}} aand ganghis ledcronies byin claiming an island and kicking out its current residents. As a result, {{MTRAP|Pikachu}} and his friends agreed to help the original resident Pokémon reclaim the island.
 
Two Exploud appeared in ''[[M12|Arceus and the Jewel of Life]]'', under the ownership of [[Damos]]. In the original timeline set up by the movie, they were used by Damos, who was under {{m|Hypnosis}}, to attack {{OBP|Arceus|M12}} with {{m|Shock Wave}}. When {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} traveled to the past to prevent this, [[Marcus]], the one responsible for hypnotizing Damos, managed to use the Exploud again to attack Arceus.

Then, it was revealed to be Blake and Heath's father's Pokémon, who once often helped them remember how well they got along.
