[[Blaine]]'s quiz machines were destroyed, so there are no puzzles to solve. The Gym Leader is a {{type|Fire}} specialist, so you may want to bring a few {{DL|Status ailment healing item|Burn Heal}}s. All three of his Pokémon are susceptible to {{t|Water}}- and {{type|Ground}} moves, but his {{p|Magcargo}} is especially vulnerable. Though his Pokémon are at respectable levels, they still should not pose much of a threat at this point. However, Water Pokémon should still be careful of {{p|Magmar}}'s {{m|ThunderPunch}}.
