::::Fear of messing something up isn't helped by saving; again, if you break anything, you'll notice in the preview, that's exactly what it's for. Nor is saving in any way going to alleviate a wall of text. (And even in a worst case scenario, reverting is still ''very'' easy.) | |||
::::If you can do a single thing properly in a single edit, isn't that best? Think of it as making you a better editor. From a practical standpoint, as the initial message said, many incremental edits can also clog up the Recent Changes log with edits that could have been done more compactly. If we're talking about mainspace pages in particular, fragmented, partial edits to "test" something out or something are also less than ideal.
