Herbal medicine

Trivia: All of this is either out-of-date and/or irrelevant to herbal medicine at all. Now that Soda Pop is tied with nothing else as the most efficient, this no longer belongs here at all.
* The effect of lowering a Pokémon's friendship due to its bitter taste applies even to those with a Calm, Gentle, Sassy, or Careful nature, which are supposed to prefer bitter taste.
* A man in Lavaridge Town states that Type-enhancing item is used for making herbal medicine. In game, however, it serves no medicinal purposes.
* Prior to Generation VII, at normal purchase prices, the Energy Root and Drink were the two most cost-effective HP recovery items, both recovering 1 HP per pdollar4 spent. However, the Potion (as well as Potion and Revives in some cases) can potentially be more cost-effective if used under certain circumstances; the ideal situation for a Potion is a Blissey with maximum EVs and IVs in HP with 1 HP remaining, which would recover around 1 HP per pdollar3.5 spent.
** In Pokémon X and Y, Fresh Water can be purchased for pdollar100 at the Kalos Power Plant, making it the most efficient healing item, recovering 1 HP per pdollar2 spent.
** In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Fresh Water can be purchased for pdollar150 at the Team Magma Hideout/Team Aqua Hideout, making it the most efficient healing item, recovering 1 HP per pdollar3 spent.
