-There are two versions of the game, at least. I have red v1.0 and v1.1. There is another change to the game engine as well, to fix a 'bouncing' issue where pressing the "a" button in a dialog would sometimes register as two presses in a single frame, due to the physical nature of a game boy's rubber dome buttons. This sometimes causes me to select "fight" and end up using whatever move the selector was hovering over in the next dialog without a chance to actually choose a move.
