:But there's actually nothing that implies that she is the same character, aside from the fact that she stands outside the temple. That's too little to consider her as the same character. ::Both characters are the only single lady who guard the Snowpoint Temple in their respective media. The anime is based on the game, if both were guarding a different temple, if one of them was an old man, or if there was several characters guarding the temple, you would be right to consider them different. When I play the game and encounter this single lady north of Snowpoint City guarding the temple and then watch the anime to see a similar single lady in charge of guarding the temple, there's no doubt they're same person.
