::::::::I had no particular reason, but I also had no reason to doubt that I was allowed to make the Legendary edits since it was in line with what I had been told. Since it was a kind of edit I had made and seen be made repeatedly, I assumed it would be fine, but more than anything I was hoping to get an additional response explaining what exactly makes it an okay edit that isn't present for inappropriate edits while also showing a desire to learn (which evidently backfired) and confirming my initial assumption. :::::::::How about using this as a rule of thumb, then? If you've participated in a recent discussion on the subject and staff have said to wait or something, then, it may be a good idea to ask a staff member directly for confirmation before you assume they'll be okay with it. If there's not been any such discussion (as is the case with your Tirtouga edit), then don't worry about it.
