When he heard about the Megalith and that Mairin Chespin is inside of it he did everything in his power to stop it and he accompany Alain to go and get Chespie out of it along with Pikachu, Greninja, and Alain's Charizard and they were successful of getting Chespie out of it and stoping the Megailth for a short time until Lysandre showed up and moved it but thanks to the effort of Zygarde along with Pikachu, Greninja, and Alain's Charziard they were able to destroy the device that he was using to control it. Ash then heard what Alain had to said and helped him get out of his depression before Team Rocket showed up to steal Pikachu but thanks to the efforts of Ash and Alain they were folded again. Ash and crew were award medals for there efforts against Team Flare then watch the firework display right by Prism Tower. After that night, he went to watch Serena, Shauna, and Jessilee's TriPokalon in Lumiose City hosted by Serena herself with approval from Professor Sycamore.
