They were randomly distributed over six different distribution periods, for a overall distribution period of October 1 to November 11, 2016. Each Pokémon is based on a Pokémon used by [[Villainous teams|villainous team]] leaders: Nidoqueen is based on [[Giovanni]]'s Nidoqueen, Sharpedo is based on [[Archie]]'s Sharpedo, Camerupt is based on [[Maxie]]'s Camerupt, Weavile is based on [[Cyrus]]'s Weavile, Hydreigon is based [[Ghetsis]]'s Hydreigon, and Pyroar is based on [[Lysandre's Pyroar]]. Each Pokémon has an {{stat|Hit Points|HP}} {{IV}} of 25.
