::::::Flamethrower wasn't before Gen II (though it would become one). I also cite Mew's Pokédex entry for FireRed: "A Pokémon from South America that was thought to have been extinct. It is very intelligent and learns '''''any move'''''." And as well, let me cite the entry for Pearl: "Many scholars regard it as the ancestor of Pokémon since it can use '''''all known moves'''''." I've added the emphasis, of course. I merely added the disclaimer because it says repeatedly in the games that Mew can learn '''''any''''' move. Not any machine move, but any move, period. And so the games are liars and we must attest to this. {{:User:TTEchidna/sig}} 20:15, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
