Red Chain: Difference between revisions

While the Red Chain cannot be obtained through normal gameplay, [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl beta|data]] for it as an [[List of unobtainable items|unobtainable]] [[key item]] exists which can be accessed through [[cheating]], including an item description.

* The Red Chain's appearance as a dummied-out key item intended to summon Dialga and Palkia indicates that at one time it may have had the same purpose as similar items in [[Generation II]] and [[Generation III]]: the {{DL|Legendary artifacts|Rainbow Wing}}, {{DL|Legendary artifacts|Silver Wing}}, {{DL|Colored orbs|Red Orb}}, and {{DL|Colored orbs|Blue Orb}} all have a role in summoning the {{pkmn2|Legendary}} pair of [[game mascot]]s of [[Johto]] and [[Hoenn]]'s games respectively. Whatever the case, it serves no purpose if it is hacked into the bag in the final games.
