Most of the same traps return from prior games; however, many Traps in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity have been redesigned or renamed, and unlike the previous games, all of the Traps break after being triggered. The first dungeon to have low-tier traps in them is [[Telluric Path]], the high-tier traps start appearing in the dungeons that are unlocked after completing the main storyline.
