: Oops, spoke too soon - this was a change implemented in Generation V. New question though; because the effect is linked to the user and the opponent's team, this means that if the opponent switches out, the new Pokémon is also subjected to Imprison's effects, right? --Stratelier 18:10, 24 December 2012 (UTC) | : Oops, spoke too soon - this was a change implemented in Generation V. ::I assume it just affects the opposing team, preventing them from using a move the user knows. Haven't really tried if it affects the user's team yet, but I can try it out and see. Should it be mentioned that some moves have identical effects except that they can't be imprisoned by Pokemon with the counterpart move? Detect/Protect, Tail Whip/Leer, Foresight/Odor Sleuth to name a few. |
