I had looked at the 000 article prior and thought that this was true, "Additionally, any Pokémon not in the regional Pokédex that are either caught from the wild by hacking or traded from another game before getting the National Pokédex will have #000 when their Pokédex entry is added to the Pokédex in Generation IV."
