:Look at page histories. Every revision of every page is stored in the database. Server space isn't an issue, and these "space saving" edits you're planning actually ''increase'' the size of the wiki. Hello! I am not sure if you are still active on Bulbapedia, although I agreed with your [[Project Music]] suggestion of documenting music usage! I had an idea of doing something similar, although the amount of work has been a bit daunting.. I think documenting the usage of each encounter theme (for important Pokémon Trainers as well as the various Pokémon Trainer classes), battle theme, "post-battle/aftermath" theme, location theme (for buildings, natural landmarks, and routes), minigame theme, and cutscene theme (such as "Rayquaza's Descent" from ''Pokémon Emerald'') would be an excellent endeavor for Bulbapedia, although admittedly, it would take a lot of work. I could probably help out with documenting music usage in ''Pokémon Emerald'' and ''Pokémon FireRed'', although we would need a lot of help for the other games.
