It says next to the Beacon Badge (under other in the anime), that Flint is a giver of said badge. If memory serves correctly (and I'm not trying to be cocky by any means) because it usually does: Ash and Flint battled one-on-one. I think it was the Proprietor who suggested that Flint battle Ash instead. Ash and Flint battled in the Sunyshore Gym, using Volkner's robotic referee, but at no point during that episode did Flint issue Ash a badge. ''Volkner'' did this himself. This should be fixed.
