:The question of splitting aside, the in-game content would not at all need to put at "operator" (unless, contrary to my every expectation, "operator" is actually used in the games anywhere). We don't need to reinvent the wheel: if it looks like a nurse, walks like a nurse, and quacks like a nurse, we can call it a nurse; if absolutely necessary, we can just put an "unofficial name" tag at the top (which you'd have to do for "operator" anyway, unless (again) I'm wrong) and everything's fine. Beyond that, though, I don't think there's any problem whatsoever with accepting other media that does call them nurses. As far as that goes, I could, at worst, see using the title Expedition. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:56, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

::"Pokémon Center operator" is just a descriptor like "Pokémon Center nurse". There's a good reason to split the article because of the quotes alone, which are wanted despite being irrelevant and not doing much other than clogging up the article. Also, following your logic, then Nurse Joy doesn't warrant an article of her own either since a lot of the in-depth information is not really necessary and could be summarized for the most part so that it fits in this article without making it too big. == Nurse vs. nurse ==
Grammatically, it's incorrect to capitalize nurse unless it starts a sentence; however, the article's name should remain capitalized because it is a title, so the move is not necessary. That said, if there are any instances in the article where the capitalized "Nurse" is used incorrectly, I'd encourage their change.
If I'm proven wrong about article titles being capitalized, then I'll gladly agree with the move. However, I can't find another case of a non-capitalized title for an article aside from the amiibo article, which is written as it is because the trademark is on the lowercase. <span style="background:#000000"><span style="color:#ffe700">Paᗧ•••</span><span style="color:#0000FF">ᗣck</span> </span> 08:07, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
