The XY Series also marked a shift in English Pokémon TCG release times. While the median release time of previous English, Nintendo-era Pokémon TCG sets was about 143 days after the Japanese release, the English XY Series sets were generally released 53 days from the original Japanese releases. In fact, Nintendo has officially released the English XY Series sets on a fairly consistent schedule, usually either 53 or 54 days after the Japanese releases. Only {{TCG|Furious Fists}} (which was released 60 days after), and {{TCG|BREAKthrough}} (which was released 39 days after), did not follow that release schedule.
