==2015 North American Professor Cup merchandise==
Every year at the National Championships, a side event is held for professors for volunteering their time throughout the Pokémon Play! season for the good of the players and fans. This side event is known as the Professor Cup and offers a number of exclusive promotional items themed around Pokémon Play! and the Professor Program, for both participating and finishing in the top places. A trophy was given to each of the Top 4 finishers. The top 16 finishers of the tournament each received an OGIO Metro Backpack with the Professor logo embroidered on the front pocket. For both winning and losing matches, booster packs are handed out to each participant. Other items, such as a Professor logo iron-on patch, hats, and coins were given out randomly. A very small number of Professor Playmats were given out as raffle prizes throughout the duration of the tournament. Every item except for the backpacks were given a wider release in the Professor Store in August 2015.
