::He/She said they found it with a Good Rod. As per page listings it can only be found with a Super Rod. I tried fishing with Good Rod a few times but didn't by any. It could be a 1% occurrence rate like the Psyduck/Slowpoke with Super Rod in so many routes but I haven't tried it enough times to confirm it. Even though [[Fishing Guru]]'s Younger brother asks the player to show a {{p|Magikarp}} caught with ''"this rod"'', i.e. a '''Super Rod''', he will reward the player for showing him any Magikarp, even one caught with an old/good rod. Further, he rewards the players based on the '''size''' of the Magikarp, in inches. When the player shows him a Magikarp for the first time, and whenever the player shows him a Magikarp which is "bigger" than the last, he will reward the player. It should be noted that the size of the Magikarp does not depend upon it's level. A level 5 Magikarp can be bigger in inches than a level 35 Magikarp.<br/> | |||
