Shouldn't there be a description for how it works in Mystery Dungeon?--[[User:Darknesslover5000|Darknesslover5000]] ([[User talk:Darknesslover5000|talk]]) 19:32, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

== Effect on AI trainers ==
Does a Pokémon with Illusion actually trick the AI? Or does the AI cheat and still know that it's, say, a Zorua even though the Illusion wasn't broken yet? This could easily be tested. Put a pure Fighting type Pokémon (like Machop) in the last spot in your party, put a slow Zorua (just to make sure that the AI Pokémon goes first) in the first spot and go up against a trainer with a Pokémon that has Psychic attacks, but not ''solely'' Psychic attacks.<br>
If the AI doesn't cheat, it would use a Psychic move which is super effective against Machop, the Pokémon that Zorua appears to be. If the AI ''does'' cheat, it would never use Psychic attacks because those do no damage to Zorua. I can't test this because I don't own the game, but I feel like that's vital information that is sadly missing from this article.
