-Charon's only trading card features him and Rotom, he's said to have written the first journal and we get no indication that they were written by separate people, nor any indication who else could have written the second journal. And like.. dude.. Charon talks in a very distinctively annoying overly posh speech style and the journal shares that. So it seems pretty evident that at least the english translators thought both journals were written by the same guy. Speaking of having a 'different personality', I just figured it was evidence that Charon used to not be an asshole when he was a child. An old guy probably isn't exactly the same as he was when he was 12 or something. And it really does seem the same 'personality' to me, aside from the good vs evil factor. Its written by some pompous scientifically-minded guy who likes to ramble on in ridiculous purple prose, and there aren't many more of those in this game. Also at no point does it say that he found 'new information about rotom', it says 'It was by pure chance that I obtained information about the Pokémon Rotom.' I figure that a Rotom jumping out of a random lawnmower qualifies as 'by pure chance'!
-So that's all the evidence that led me to this conclusion and I figure since a lot of other people also found that conclusion and you seem to be the only one objecting, its something that should probably be discussed rather than just blindly edited out of the page. Or like... change the rotom mentions to 'there are signs that he might have befriended a rotom' or whatever, to show that its ambiguous but still leave it on the page.
