:Posting gibberish is not the only form of vandalism. He was knowingly adding all kinds of blatantly false, fanfic-like information on articles and removing content, which are actually even worse forms of vandalism. If he had given a better first impression and had also made constructive edits, I wouldn't have blocked him indefinitely.
