HS Trainer Kit (TCG): Difference between revisions

The '''HS Trainer Kit''' is a special {{DL|Deck|Trainer kit}} for the [[Pokémon Trading Card Game]] and features the Pokémon {{p|Gyarados}} and {{p|Raichu}}. It was released in English and European languages only.

All of the cards found within the two {{tcg|Half deck}}s are reprints from ''{{TCG|HeartGold & SoulSilver}}''. The cards Gyarados and Raichu (both [[Holofoil] and non-Holofoil versions) have alternate artwork to their ''HeartGold & SoulSilver'' counterparts. Also, the {{TCG|Energy card}}s from the Half decks do not have the Pokémon/location image additions their ''HeartGold & SoulSilver'' counterparts feature.

None of the cards have [[Rarity]] symbols and they each feature a collection number and set symbol exclusive to the kit. Every card in each of the Half decks has an individual collection number, unlike past {{DL|Deck|Trainer kit}}s where multiples of one card share the same collection number.

In addition to the Half decks, the HS Trainer Kit also includes a ''HeartGold & SoulSilver'' {{TCG|Booster pack}}, {{DL|Glossary (TCG)|Damage|damage counters}}, {{TCG|Special Conditions|status counters}}, a {{TCG|Coin|custom coin}} with {{p|Pikachu}}, and {{DL|Glossary (TCG)|Field|playmat}}. A new addition to the kit is the inclusion of a Trainer Kit Guide, which takes players from Set Up through to their 8th turn of an example battle. There is one guide for each of the Half decks included. Another new addition comes in the form of a 60-card deck box, featuring {{p|Gyarados}} and {{p|Raichu}}.
