Hall of Origin: Difference between revisions

* Two versions of the Hall of Origin map exist in {{game2|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}, one 'real' and one 'fake'. The 'fake' Hall of Origin uses [[Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl: Super Music Collection|''Spear Pillar'']] as its theme and can be accessed through the [[tweaking]] glitch; this is sometimes known as "Stickyman's Spear Pillar Hall of Origin" method<ref>[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1r02og1raAV1F8aCj6aIPT0z7J7anWrMqFMJ-yEUm4to/edit?pli=1 Void Knowledge Archive, by the members of HallofOrigin - Google Drive]</ref> after its discoverer. * Regardless, it is impossible to battle {{p|Arceus}} even in the 'real' Hall of Origin unless the player has accessed the actual Azure Flute event. None of the usual events in the area will trigger, so the camera will not tilt as usual while the player ascends the stairs, and Arceus will not challenge the player when they step onto the glass platform. The Arceus sprite still appears, but it cannot be directly interacted with (just as in the actual event). This makes Arceus inaccessible through the glitches that enable access to {{p|Darkrai}} and {{p|Shaymin}}, such as the [[Surf glitch]] and tweaking glitch. Additionally in Pokémon Platinum, as with Darkrai and Shaymin, Arceus will (redundantly) not appear in the area at all unless the player has the Azure Flute in their Bag.
