For the years following, the only exposure he had to Pokemon was Pokemon Ruby and Emerald and one episode of the Advanced season (Sharpedo Attack!) for which he had shown some interest as Ash had a new outfit, Brock came back, he was traveling with a girl who was actually prettier than Misty and a nerdy schoolboy looking kid was along as well. But he did not continue to watch the series, instead focusing on Yu-Gi-Oh (not GX) and watching RAW episodes of Naruto which he couldn't understand, yet he liked the animation. May 2007 was a big turnaround for Pkmn veteran. He obtained a copy of Pokemon Diamond for the DS and though school was pressing him for time, he started watching the Diamond & Pearl series of the anime and instantly became hooked on it as it was a big improvement from Johto. Since he couldn't wait for the new English episodes, he started watching the RAWs as well as the RAWs of episodes he saw in English. Then in September of that year, he joined BMGf and Serebii, which he had lurked on during Generation II. At the same time he joined Bulbapedia.
