This card was one of two cards available in the {{TCGMerch|Platinum|Series|Arceus Three Pack Blisters}}, released on November 4, 2009. In Japan, it was released as a {{TCG|DPt-P Promotional cards|DPt-P Promotional card}} and available as a Super Rank prize to members of the [[Pokémon Daisuki Club]]. To achieve a Super Rank, players had to accumulate at least 3200 Action Points (AP). As the TCG transitioned into the LEGEND Era in Japan, the card was reprinted as a {{TCG|L-P Promotional cards|L-P Promotional card}}, which also required 3200 AP to earn. Due to the relatively short timeframe in which to accumulate the requisite number of points, many members would have been awarded the card after the transition, making the DPt-P print considerably rarer than the L-P print.
