In Taiwan, it was [http://www.my-cartoon.com.tw/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3444&Itemid=1 distributed] at the 2013 Comic Festival, which took place at the {{wp|Taipei World Trade Center}} from August 15 to 20, 2013. Pikachu was available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.

These Pokémon were distributed at [[Pokémon Center (store)|Pokémon Center stores]] across Japan to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Pokémon Center stores. The first six distributions players received a set Pokémon, but from July 3 to 7, 2013 a random Pokémon can be received. The Pokémon were distributed at all Pokémon Center stores.

These "Powerful Tag Pokémon" (Japanese: '''強力タッグポケモン''') were distributed in pairs and by time intervals during the dates two Pokémon were available.
