:I tried speaking to her without the Pokédex entry and she did not give it to me. Unless there's some other factor (which I doubt, because her text implies that she is refusing to give it ''because'' I didn't have Gengar's Pokédex entry), I can confirm that it ''is'' required. Are you ''positive'' you didn't have its Pokédex entry when you spoke to her? (I'm not sure when this comment was made, so sorry if it was over the six-month limit!) ::I still don't have Gengar in my Pokédex in X, and I've beat the Champion, but the lady gave me the Gengarite the first time I talked to her. Maybe you only have to have Haunter in your 'dex? Whatever the prerequisite could be, it's not seeing Gengar.
