Serena's Delphox: Difference between revisions

Fennekin first appeared in ''[[XY003|A Battle of Aerial Mobility!]]'' as one of the three [[starter Pokémon]] new [[Pokémon Trainer]]s could choose from [[Professor Sycamore]]. In ''[[XY004|A Shockingly Cheeky Friendship!]]'', Serena chose Fennekin as her [[starter Pokémon]]. Later in the same episode, Fennekin chased a {{pkmn2|wild}} {{p|Vespiquen}} that was about to attack Serena away with {{m|Ember}}, demonstrating courage and care for its Trainer.  

In ''[[XY005|A Blustery Santalune Gym Battle!]]'', Fennekin woke up with Serena at a Pokémon Center and enjoyed a large breakfast with her. Fennekin mimicked Serena's actions during their breakfast by stretching as the same time she did. Later in the same episode, it was introduced to {{Ash}}, {{AP|Pikachu}}, {{an|Clemont}}, and {{an|Bonnie}} and greeted them happily.

In ''[[XY007|Giving Chase at the Rhyhorn Race!]]'', Fennekin had its first battle, fighting against {{TRT}} and using Ember to blast them off.

In ''[[XY008|Grooming Furfrou!]]'', Serena left it with what she thought were Pokémon Stylists so it could be groomed. Unfortunately, the "Pokémon Stylists" turned out to be Team Rocket, who were running a scam to steal Pokémon. When Serena saw the "Pokémon Stylists" on a wanted poster, she rushed to rescue Fennekin, and did so with the help of Ash, Pikachu, {{kal|Jessica}} and her {{p|Furfrou}}.

In [[XY021]] Fennekin worked with Serena to make a PR video. Fennekin was later captured by {{TRT}} alongside {{AP|Pikachu}} and {{TP|Clemont|Dedenne}} but, with their combined attacks, managed to escape while [[Jessie]] was distracted performing for her own PR video. It hesitated at first to run through a large muddy puddle that was between itself and Serena but ran to its trainer after she was attacked by Team Rocket's Pokémon. As [[Jessie's Pumpkaboo]] dived down to attack with {{m|Frustration}}, Fennekin unleashed a {{m|Flamethrower}} attack and defeated the Pumpkin Pokémon before {{AP|Pikachu}} sent the villains blasting off.  

Fennekin has been shown to take after its Trainer. In ''[[XY005|A Blustery Santalune Gym Battle!]]'', it mimicked Serena when she stretched out. Fennekin takes pride in its appearance, and becomes upset when its fur or tail become mussed or dirty. In ''[[XY011|The Bamboozling Forest!]]'', it thanked {{AP|Froakie}} for cleaning its tail with the Frubbles on the {{type|Water}}'s back, and in [[XY021]], it hesitated to escape from {{TRT}} because of a muddy puddle that blocked its path. It changed its mind once it saw its trainer start to run across the puddle to its side. Its character continued on [[XY022]] while hiding away from battling from a Corsola's {{m|Water Gun}}.

Fennekin is shown to have a bit of a temper, and gets angry quickly without thinking twice, as shown in [[XY021]], when Fennekin continuously tried to hit {{AP|Pikachu}} with its {{m|Ember}} attack. It was also shown to be easily envious in XY021 as well, becoming jealous of [[Elle]]'s Fennekin's performance on PokéVision, and when Ash complimented the performance.
