I'm rather skeptical that the Wonder Guard Ability actually blocks OHKOs just like Sturdy does. I'm under the impression that the only reason OHKOs don't work on Shedinja is because Shedinja simply isn't weak to any of Normal, Ground, or Ice. To test this, it might be necessary to either hack or do some fancy stuff with Trace/Reflect Type/blah to get, say, an Electric-type with Wonder Guard, and see if it's still immune to Fissure. If Fissure can hit an Electric-type with Wonder Guard, then Wonder Guard does not inherently block OHKOs; it's simply blocking them since they aren't normally super effective.
