'''Master Hamm''' (Japanese:  '''ハマグリ''' ''Hamaguri'') is the owner of the [[Fighting Dojo]] in [[Saffron City]] and is the father of [[Kyle Hamm|Kyle]]. He was seen in ''[[AG145|Pasta La Vista]]''.

He was trying to convince Kyle to run the Dojo Gym since he claimed that he was too old to do it, and Kyle refused to do so. So they challenged each other to a match. If Kyle won, he would be free to do whatever he wants, including his wish to run his own noodle shop. Since Master Hamm broke his back, {{Ash}} took over for him, while {{an|May}} took over for Kyle. When they battled, {{TRT}} interrupted the match and captured {{p|Hitmonlee}} and {{p|Hitmonchan}}. So [[Terri]], the only student of the dojo, used {{p|Hitmontop}} to battle them. Ash finished them off with [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu's]] {{m|Thunderbolt}}.
