:It can vary depending on the manga but I guess anything you can confirm. When I first added a section for [[Roxanne]] in PMRS, for example, since I only have the Japanese version I had left it pretty basic "Roxanne appears in the Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire manga. She first appeared in ''[[PMRS09|Clefairy's Training Camp!!]]''. She has a Nosepass." and then someone who had the manga managed to add the rest XD but I think adding at least the fact that they appeared, what chapter/round they appeared in, and a pic of them at least starts the section, acknowledges that they appeared, and adds awareness so that someone who may have read the manga can improve the section. A limited, but truthful section is better than none at all. At least it's better than inserting anything that doesn't exist in a story.
