-::Maybe the two do not actually look exactly alike, they just wear the same clothes and have the same hair-style and color (which could easily be a dye job) and possibly eye color (RSE style has almost everyone with seemingly black eyes or very dark brown\blue\grey), and every Pokémon characters has the same face with girls having eyelashes and evil-er people and older ones getting slanty-er eyes. And people like Cilan or Valerie with unique eye designs, plus later Gen V or VI (or even some HGSS) who get a different style with bigger\cuter eyes, except for a few such as Hilbert, Hilda, Calem, Serena, Diantha, and Alder.
