== Named after a real person ==
If Lapras was named after a real person named Jean-Pierre Simon Laplace or somesuch, we could put it as being one of the few Pokémon that were named after real people. (Well, there's Kangashkhan too, but "Khan" is a title not a name [there were different Khans than Gengis Khan], and the Hitmons, and i guess Abra line in japanese too, until the names had to be changed b\c Harry Houdini did not want a Pokèmon named after him because it would cause a controversy.) --[[User:Kaiko Mikkusu|Kaiko Mikkusu]] ([[User talk:Kaiko Mikkusu|talk]]) 13:16, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
