::Some Pokémon only appear in certain, "special" trees. For those trees, one or more of the normal Pokémon must have a different encounter rate. So in GS, you have trees which have Spearow 80% of the time and Aipom 20% of the time. Special trees have Heracross as well, with the encounter rate for Spearow decreasing to 50% to account for that. So the encounter rates for special trees are 50% Spearow, 30% Heracross and 20% Aipom.
