While there, they got attacked by some Pokémon which Ash and {{an|Iris}} fended off with their Pokémon. The group then befriended three {{p|Eevee}}. {{TRT}} were also on the island and using their {{TP|Jessie|Woobat}} and {{TP|James|Yamask}}, they tried to fend off the Pokémon that attacked them. [[Alexa]] figured out that the Pokémon on the island are ones that evolve from [[evolutionary stone|stones]]. Cilan suggested that they should go to the deepest part of the island as they would find the stones there. After getting attacked by a {{p|Ninetales}}, the group found a secret passage that led them to the stones.
