|desc=Tammy has a {{p|Politoed}} nicknamed '''Bean''' (Jp: '''ビーン''' ''Bean''), it is distinctive from other Politoed by a red band it wears around its head. Politoed is part of a cheerleading squad. Its first appeared when it had been mistaken for [[Misty's Politoed]] and was now with {{an|Misty}}. Bean finds {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} which suddenly fall down a hole caused by {{TRT}}. Bean then helps to stop and send Team Rocket blasting off. Misty sees it is not her Politoed and tries to return it to Tammy, but she rejects it saying Misty's Politoed is much better. Misty decides to let Tammy use her Politoed for the cheerleading conference that is coming up.

Bean becomes depressed and Ash and his friends can't cheer it up. Later when everyone is trapped by Team Rocket's [[Team Rocket's mechas|mecha]], Bean comes to the rescue and saves them all. Later on, Bean, Tammy, and the Pokémon squad perform in the competition. Bean does its best and they end up winning. Bean is back in the team.
