Okay, I know Steel types are weak against fire types, but wouldn’t Steelix be the exception? :Because its primary type is Steel. That's literally the only reason. You can't over-analyze it too much. Just look at the Sandshrew mini-game in Stadium. In my Pokémon Pearl version, the sprite for a male Steelix, possibly female as well, is not touching its shadow, giving the impression of levitation. Is this true for all Sinnoh games or is mine glitching somehow? And if it happens in all games, is it worth mentioning in the trivia section?
