* Since {{TRT}} finished corrupting the {{Ball|Poké}} transporter only when {{Ash}} and others entered the Pokémon Center, not many people could have used it before Ash, if he was not the first. Obviously, Team Rocket could not have stolen three large bags of Poké Balls.
* {{p|Beautifly}} is pictured where {{p|Nuzleaf}}'s name appears in {{pkmn|Trainer's Choice}}.
** Additionally, {{p|Combusken}} would be the worst choice of the three, as it is part {{type|Fighting}}, weak to {{type|Psychic}}s. {{p|Beautifly}} would instead be the best choice, as it is part {{type|Flying}} which is effective against {{p|Meditite}}, a part {{type|Fighting}}.
* In the scene where {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} found {{TRT}}'s balloon, {{Ball|Poké}}s could be seen in the basket.
* "{{Ball|Poké}}" written in one word appears in the [[Pokémon anime|anime]] not for the first time. This spelling seems to be canonical in the anime.
*After {{an|Professor Oak}} returns {{p|Bulbasaur}} to its {{Ball|Poké}}, he puts it on the transporter upside down but in the next shot it is right side up.
* When {{TP|Jessie|Seviper}} uses {{m|Poison Tail}} for the first time, the outlines around the purple markings are a light purple instead of black.
* {{p|Beautifly}} is pictured where {{p|Nuzleaf}}'s name appears in {{pkmn|Trainer's Choice}}.
